Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Buffalo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I love bringing my pups here (I have even brought my cat before too!). Tess is always so kind and willing to help in any way that she can! She has great suggestions for me and my client's pets. I work as a canine rehabilitation specialist at a local veterinary hospital and I tend to send my clients down to this store to be fitted for booties, harnesses and even check out some of the supplement selections that they have. I always have great feedback from my clients when they go! Highly recommend.

Went in to buy cat food as a regular customer. I grabbed free samples and was told that I grabbed too many… Okay. and then I mentioned that i donate to the SPCA and the man at the counter said that the ‘animals there don’t need help’ and that the city shelters ‘need it more.’ Then said that he limits samples because people were feeding the stray cats of the community. Right, so people of the community are taking advantage of a free resource for the store and the community….. and distributing it to the community. With the knowledge that the city shelters need it more… I wonder what the store is doing to help the shelters? Was then told that they only get ‘so many free samples.’ Right, so the box on the floor for your paying customers - you want to police what they do… with free samples. Weird interaction. Will not be back.

I had the best experience at Elmwood Pets this morning. Leon, my basset hound was fitted for a new harness and leash. Fantastic customer service. I would never get that personalized service at a chain pet store. Highly recommend.

It's a beautiful life when you can walk down the street in the heart of the Elmwood Village and buy your pets food, treats, toys, and so so much more in a place you feel at home and welcome. Buying local feels so good. Keep doing what you do and thank you, I'll be back! 😀

Local pet store with tons of pet toys, clothes, treats, food, chews and accessories. High quality products and the staff is trained on everything they sell. It’s nice that they have a good selection of toys and treats for little dogs as well as larger ones. A great store on the Elmwood strip.
